Chiefland is a city in Levy County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,993 at the 2000 census. According to the U.S Census estimates of 2005, the city had a population of 2,095.

Be sure to visit Manatee Springs and utilize their boat ramps, located just outside the park. Boat on up the river to Fanning Springs next for a refreshing swim in the spring. There is a variety of boat ramps in the area both saltwater and freshwater.
