The Knickerbocker on the Lake is a beautifully restored 1929 Art Deco hotel located 2 blocks from the Lake front and 10 miles from General Mitchell Ineternational Airport. Situated in a quiet residential area about 10 blocks from downtown- the hotel is 5 blocks from the Art Museum- Summerfest- Northwestern Mutual Life- and Johnson Controls- 1/2 mile from Marquette University- 2 1/2 miles from Miller Brewing- and 3 miles from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. The Knickerbocker combines turn of the century charm and exceptional guest service to provide the highest standards of hospitality. The hotel has retained much of the original charm in the lobby with vaulted ceilings- crystal chandeliers- and the original terrazzo floors.
