Riggins lies between the two deepest gorges in North America, surrounded by Hells Canyon National Recreation Area to the west and the Nez Perce National Forest and Gospel Hump Wilderness Area to the east.Large log and timber structures, river rock, slate, and granite are found throughout the building.
